Charlotte was born in Caerphilly in 1979. At the age of six she began dancing and was soon specializing in Latin American dances, winning prizes at the National UK Championships, Bournemouth in 1990 as well as the International Championships, London in 1995.
Between 1991 and 1994 she took first prize in Welsh clog dance, Disco dancing and Creative dancing at the Urdd Eisteddfod throughout Wales. She has since been a dance adjudicator for the Eisteddfod.
Having extensive training for many years and gaining many experiences of dancing throughout Wales, she then worked with young children at a young age herself teaching dance, from beginners to IDTA exam standards in Disco, Latin and Ballroom.
In 1990 she taught Contemporary and Latin dance at a Summer school organized by the Performing Arts department at Bridgend College.
Also in 1999 she found Salsa in Cardiff and straight away fell in love with the different rhythms and cultures. She has since traveled the country finding inspiration and has taught alongside some of the best dances in the country. She has visited Spain, Cuba, Dominican Republic to dance Salsa, Merengue, Lambada, Bachata, Cuban cha cha and many more.
Charlotte has worked as a dance/performer on two touring projects with company Sound Affairs: Kitsch ‘n’ Sync, which toured the UK in March 2001; and Rimto Latino which toured Wales in May 2001.
She has also performed in many festivals throughout Wales including the following: Barry Festival 2001 Cardiff Festival 2002 Swansea Festival 2005 Newport Summer Soundz 2006-10-24 She has had many appearances on TV including dance documentary ‘Box Pops’, Stage appears for the Urdd, and Pop Videos for S4C artist. Trevor and Charlotte both recently appeared on an ITV series as Latin Dancers.
Having found her preferred style of dance – CUBAN SALSA she has worked country wide, teaching in many dance venues/organizations. Some examples:

She has recently gained a Post Graduate Degree in teaching – June 2006 Her current full time job is in education at Crosskeys College, supporting Hearing Impaired students. She is also a qualified interpreter in British Sign Language. She works regularly with special needs students in the Individual Life Skills department of Care teaching students an Introduction to Dance/Movement.
She has great satisfaction in her line of work witnessing lots of students developing in their dance style, and ability to express themselves.
